Opps, mistake in that last commit.
"last alert" will now display the last alert received... not the last one sent. This means that alerts sent whilst in "stop alerts" mode will be included.
All skeletorized and javadoc'd now.
Rejigged to use the same queuing structure as the Monitors. Changed all the alerters to use new structire. Possibly need to create an alerter skeleton...

The whole server package structure has been changed. Old Package: uk.ac.ukc.iscream.* New Package: uk.org.iscream.*
Given all the classes that extend Thread a name using Thread.setName(). It is only representative as far as it will tell us which class the Thread is, but this will go some way to aiding debugging. If time permitted, more effort could be taken to name each thread according to what it was dealing with.
Added a count of "ignored" alerts - ie. when in stopped mode.
Now passes the time since the first alert for a problem occoured. Also has support for formatting and displaying this information as obtained from the config
A lot of error catching with the configuration has been implemented.
Now shows OK alerts if the previous alert exceeded the alerters level
Now responds to OK messages even if that isn't the level its monitoring. Maybe not ideal just yet though, it should only get OK's if its level has been passed, but not sure how to do that yet.
Added a 1 second delay between messages. IRC servers may not be happy if we spam messages too quickly, and may actively block us.
Added a version command.
Added a selection of new features, such as uptime, time since last alert, and statistics. Also improved the last alert command to provide a time stamp.

Added a lot of features merged with the stuff AJ has just done. The IRC bot now is a lot more robust - it will make more effort to connect, and reconnect. It will respond to user commands, such as "stop alerts". It can be moved between channels, and even supports different names if one is in use.
Revamped monitoring and alert fireing mechanism. Now takes account of timing of last alerts. Now uses threshold value a guide to how quickly alerts should be escalated.
Both alerting mechanisms now make full use of the ConfigurationProxy class, which in turn gives them dynamic updates of configuration :)

This form allows you to request diffs between any two revisions of this file. For each of the two "sides" of the diff, select a symbolic revision name using the selection box, or choose 'Use Text Field' and enter a numeric revision.
